Welcome to Estero United Methodist Church! Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us! Our church is centered in our mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ who will love God, love others and serve the world.
WHAT TO EXPECT
When and where are services?
Starting January 8th, service times are as follows:
8:00am Traditional Service – Sanctuary
9:30am Casual Traditional Service – Fellowship Hall
9:45am Contemporary Service – Sanctuary
11:15am Traditional Service – Sanctuary
We are located on the corner of U.S. 41 & Broadway in Estero, FL.
What is a Sunday service like?
Our Sunday services offer enlivening worship and Biblical teaching that is relevant to every day life. Look through our sermon archives to get a feel for what a service is like. Each service lasts about an hour.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. You will see some dressy and some casual. We want you to “come as you are.”
What do I do when I get there?
Look for the Welcome Desk in the Narthex (foyer) of the Sanctuary. There, our staff and volunteers will give you a packet of information about the church, along with a special welcome gift. They will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about the church, direct you to the Children’s check-in area, or to a Sunday School class.
Where do I take my kids?
We have a nursery available for children ages birth-4yrs. located in the hallway to the left of the Sanctuary, where parents can take their little ones during the service.
Older kids, K-5 through 5th grade are welcome to go into services with their parents and will be dismissed for Children’s Church (for 9:45 and 11:15am services only) after worship and before the sermon. Our Children’s Director then walks them to the Children’s Building to have a lesson, do crafts and play games. They can be picked up in the Children’s Building after the service. Your children are also more than welcome to sit in on the whole worship service if that is what you prefer.
